i cant install this driver, its says
"windows encountered a problem installing the driver software for your device.
windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it.
Nvidia geforce go 7300
the system cannot find the file specified"

i extract the "169.21_forceware_winvista_32bit_english_beta" and download the inf, i replace the inf and try the "have-disk method vista"
can you help me plz ?

Umm... for some reason when I try to install these 169.21 drivers the setup goes through, but it happens very quickly and it says at the end that the system has not been modified. Why is it doing this? I'm coming from 169.17 drivers if that means anything.

Replaced inf, ran setup. Got the same "System was not modified." message.

This .inf will not work unless you have the international drivers. I'm sure that the current link to download the drivers is temporary. Be patient, an international version will be out soon enough.

Am having some driver server issues now, so need to be careful how/where drivers are coming from on the servers.

I may trial another server to see how it will handle it.

Well, same issue as the previous releases after 169.04.... NO software-OC
Will try out some games later, but I am sure they will be the same (overall performance wise) as the previous releases

Just so I'm completely sure, even if these drivers don't support Control Panel over-clocking, can they still be over-clocked with the ATITool application?

If not, I'm staying on what I currently have.

If you wanna restore NV Control Panel OC, uninstall nTune and then reinstall it. It will reappear as an option. Had a similar issue pop up with the last 2 (169.13 and 169.17).

Well, technically, all these newer drivers have the options, it just won't save the option when you Apply and exit.

As long as it works with ATITool, I'm good.

EDIT: Well, it would appear we have the exact same laptop!

i have notice also these up the temp on the gpu, normal temp was 50c - 55c with these it got up 70c, i have since got the 167.45 driver from dell, and there the best so far for me

Nice, another C90s! These new drivers work great with my notebook.

Off topic and outta curiosity what problems do you have left with your C90s notebook? I still have some issues with the Express Card slot where I get blue screens and it won't work right on battery.

hmmm, i'm new to this stuff but i was able to OC my card (8600m gt on vostro 1500) by

1) deleting display adapter in device manager
2) using driver cleaner
3) restart computer
4) installing 169.21 using have disk method
5) restarting

and i was able to OC with any tool. I wasn't able to OC my card before because i hadn't used drive cleaner prior to installing the new driver. i'm not sure if that was the problem or not but hope i can help someone who had trouble like me biggrin.gif

I seem to have a problem with PowerDVD and latest 169.21 and 169.17 drivers.
Tried both of these drivers and they work perfect except for when I wish to play HD content in PowerDVD.
I suddenly receive a warning of Incompatible graphics driver.
Also after I tried using their HD/BD Advisor to find out abit more details this is what I was shown:

As far as I know, I've been completely satisfied with my C90S. I've never used the express slot however, so I can't vouch for that.

I quickly uninstalled that unstable auto-overclock POS, "TurboGear," leaving me with a functionless button on the top-right. Beyond that, I've had solid performance.

Slightly more on-topic, I've been on 169.04 for a while now and it's seemed to be the best for me. With a little overclock (from 480|400 to 525|505), I've managed to hold a stable '06 score of 3818, with a Vista Index Score of 5.2.

Hmm, interesting.

My problem with TG was, I'd get a blue screen a few seconds after switching to Gaming Mode.

I might just go without it.

My first BSOD with this driver, and it made my computer so slow ! 169.09 was the best for me so far
