As with every released driver, version 70.90 of the Release 70 drivers has open issues and enhancement requests associated with it. What follows is a list of issues that are either not fixed or not implemented in this version. Some problems listed may not have been thoroughly investigated and, in fact, may not be NVIDIA issues. Others will have workaround solutions.

Significant issues resolved in driver version 70.90

Users are having good luck with 70.90. It's far more polished than previous 7x.xx drivers, the color balance utility works, and many game bugs have been fixed. Still, despite the version number, it's a "last generation" driver that lacks the new LOD Clamp feature that many of us have come to rely on (to solve the Texture Shimmering problem).
If you are a fan of the 7x.xx series (you know who you are), you'll like this one. If not, 67.03 remains the driver of choice.
