According to the changelog the only new feature is:
  • Improved performance of the graphics memory manager on GeForce 8 series GPUs running DirectX 9 applications in single-GPU and NVIDIA SLI configurations.
    These improvements solve cases of reported performance slowdowns in some 3D applications with high graphics settings and resolutions.
All drivers from the Release 163.xx series feature "PureVideo HD decode acceleration for GeForce 8600, 8500 and 8400 series GPUs" according to the Release Notes.

The drivers which were released today by NVIDIA and promoted and spread by NZONE, news and driver sites, are the English-only driver, while we already downloaded, repacked an uploaded the MultiLanguage driver release to be officially released later. As Pieter's INF for this driver is based on the original INF that came with this driver it will install MultiLanguage files wink.gif If you got the English driver only and use Pieter's INF, it just will not work. Always use the INF provided with the driver we host since if not we cannot guarantee anything.
We know it was not in the past like this, but the localization dependency was added by NVIDIA again to their original INFs (like in the pre 53.00 driver series).
