I've recently discovered some odd behavior with newer/older drivers for my specific Card, details about bug here:

If anyone has the same card (330M GT) or anything close to that (Same chip perhaps) can check it out if they have the same 'odd' behavior in relation to the allocated Video Memory? The only thing I found so far is some people saying that their Dedicated memory dropped to 224MB after installing newer drivers, but nobody really cared as of now.
I know not alot of people have this card and even if they do, most aren't even using it for gaming.

This release of the CUDA Toolkit version 4.1 features a new LLVM-based CUDA compiler, 1000+ new image processing functions, and a redesigned Visual Profiler with automated performance analysis and integrated expert guidance.
Today over in the NVidia forums ManuelG (forum moderator) said:
"As R290 drivers will be ending soon, we would like to have final feedback for this driver branch. Please if you have not done so, please fill out the feedback form below to provide feedback on our R290.36 and R290.53 drivers."
He made that comment in the early morning and signed off for the day in the late afternoon.
Previously he has said NVidia prefers to release drivers early in the week rather than late in the week.
The immediate future seems more predictable right now.

Now this is more like it, a Geforce 630M based 14"/15.6" Notebook.
Still the low resolution LCD screen though, could live with it on the 14" version.
This would make a good all round Notebook for the average consumer especially the 14" version for the road.

Nice pretty colour, a wee bit bigger than the model below, also has the same GPU, screen resolution a wee bit low for my liking in a 15.6" screen, good for a 14" screen though.
2GB Geforce 610M quite a good entry level spec, but again a bit low still for my liking for a 15.6" machine.

I just got my hands on some 720p and 1080p Embedded Display Port LCDs. These things don't use the traditional clunky laptop-style LVDS interface, they use regular display port signaling. (like you would get out of a port on the back of your PC)
If I can hook the power and cables up correctly, I should be able to plug these into my desktop computer and turn them on.
The LCDs I have are 13.1 inches, so I have the smallest 1080p display that I have ever seen currently. However the award for the smallest 720p display that I have seen goes to my Samsung Galaxy Nexus, which is pictured.
I have acquired the small custom cables that you see pictured, the wires and connectors are very small. I have chopped up a display port cable, and I will hook them together.
I have also acquired a 2.5V power supply to run the panels. If this all works I will make some adapter circuit boards for these things.
The manufacturer originally said these 1080p panels cost $90, but these first gen ones that my friend got cost like $300, so you might see them in an expensive tablet later this year. (and homemade video projectors) Not only are these panels small but they are thinner and have less electronics and bezel spacing than traditional laptop LCDs.

If I can hook the power and cables up correctly, I should be able to plug these into my desktop computer and turn them on.
The LCDs I have are 13.1 inches, so I have the smallest 1080p display that I have ever seen currently. However the award for the smallest 720p display that I have seen goes to my Samsung Galaxy Nexus, which is pictured.
I have acquired the small custom cables that you see pictured, the wires and connectors are very small. I have chopped up a display port cable, and I will hook them together.
I have also acquired a 2.5V power supply to run the panels. If this all works I will make some adapter circuit boards for these things.
The manufacturer originally said these 1080p panels cost $90, but these first gen ones that my friend got cost like $300, so you might see them in an expensive tablet later this year. (and homemade video projectors) Not only are these panels small but they are thinner and have less electronics and bezel spacing than traditional laptop LCDs.

Making my debut for the lite versions of Dox Modded Mobility Catalyst (or DMMC). I was not happy with DMMC 11.11 due to driver tweaks and extremely buggy Switchable graphics. Although I was happy with DMMC 11.12 with regards to tweaks and switchable graphics I was not happy with the driver file package size, which are over 100mb. So I decided to release lite versions of DMMC 11.12. These Lite versions may become the main versions with DMMC 12.01 or I may choose to release the full fat and lite versions of each Catalyst driver releases. Will have to see how popular these lite versions are!
[Whats the Lite Version?]
Lite version includes the same driver tweaks and support as the 'full fat version' released earlier. However the AMD driver package has been striped down to the bare bones and only includes the display driver and control panel (no opencl or windows decoders etc). Language files have also been deleted. Therefore this release will only show english in the Catalyst Control Panel. All this results in a driver package that is up to 50% smaller than the full fat version and AMD's stock official release.
